Keep the load and the enclosure separate
A wooden collar provides perimeter containment. The base supports the load and the inner pack controls movement and protection. Confirm all three against the goods rather than transferring a rating from another pallet or box. Use the matching collar product guide to discuss the components offered.
Plan the receiving and return process
For ingredient packaging returns, the packing decision starts with this specific check: Define the receiving inspection and cleaning process for the loop; do not mix damaged timber with accepted stock. Agree how the receiver opens the pack and removes the items. Where packaging is returned, record the expected condition of boards, hinges, lid and internal fittings before the set is used again.
